MANGOTSFIELD UNITED SUPPORTERS CLUB - "CLASSIC GOLD CHRISTMAS DISCO PARTY" - SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER

The first Mangotsfield United Supporters Club function will be held at Cossham Street on Saturday 5th December, this will be a "Classic Gold Christmas Disco Party" (with buffet). Entry for this event which is ticket only and commences at 8.00pm is £5.00 for MUSC adult members and £3.00 for MUSC Junior members. Prices for non members are £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for juniors. Tickets which are on sale now can be bought over the bar in the clubhouse, from the club shop and from MUSC committee members.

 

RACE NIGHT - SUNDAY 20TH DECEMBER

A fund raising Race Night with buffet is to be held at Cossham Street on Sunday 20th December from 4pm - 8pm. There will be eight races over the evening with a limit of £1 per bet. Entry for this event is free. If you are interested in sponsoring a race which costs £50.00 please contact Richard Iles on 07789718709. All horses for the eight races will be auctioned on the night.

As a contest this match was over inside thirty minutes after the hosts opened up a three goal lead as leading scorer Justin Bennett helped himself to a clinical twenty one minute hat trick. Saturday 21st November - Errea League Cup 2nd Round - Mangotsfield United Res 3 Cleeve West Town 0

In an entertaining game played in difficult conditions the reserves, with an average age of just nineteen continued to play in a positive way, keeping possession against a resilient Cleeve West Town. Wednesday 18th November - Somerset Youth Floodlit League Premier Division - Mangotsfield United 1 Weston Super Mare 5

Mangotsfield United's inexperienced youth team went down 5 - 1 to league leaders Weston Super Mare. Ryan Davies scored for Mangotsfield. The next fixture for the youth team is on Monday 23rd November with the return match at Weston Super Mare.
