MANGOTSFIELD UNITED SUPPORTERS CLUB - "CLASSIC GOLD CHRISTMAS DISCO PARTY" - SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER

The first Mangotsfield United Supporters Club function will be held at Cossham Street on Saturday 5th December, this will be a "Classic Gold Christmas Disco Party" (with buffet). Entry for this event which is ticket only and commences at 8.00pm is £5.00 for MUSC adult members and £3.00 for MUSC Junior members. Prices for non members are £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for juniors. Tickets which are on sale now can be bought over the bar in the clubhouse, from the club shop and from MUSC committee members.

Thursday 5th November - Squad News - Mangotsfield United v Thatcham Town

Mangotsfield United manager Phil Bater is facing up to something of an injury crisis ahead of Saturday's home league fixture against mid table Thatcham Town. Long term absentees Martin Paul (hamstring) and Lee Collier (ankle) remain sidelined, whilst Mike Trought (knee), Tony Court (dead leg), Jack Allward (shoulder) and Dan Spill (knee) are all doubtful.

Tuesday 3rd November - The Zamaretto League South & West Division - Taunton Town  0 Mangotsfield United 3

Mangotsfield United bounced back from Saturday's dismal four goal defeat with a first away win of the season and a welcome three points as Taunton Town were swept aside inside the opening thirty three minutes at Wordsworth Drive, a win which sees Mangotsfield leapfrog their Somerset rivals and move away from the relegation places ................(more).

 

Saturday 31st October - "50 Club Draw"

The third "50 Club" draw was held after today's league fixture against Windsor & Eton and was drawn by Jo Selway. The numbers drawn for October were 18, 30, 8. The three winners were £100 - Roger Coles, £50 - Debbie Grzesiczek and £25 - Graham Loud. The draw for November will be held on the last home fixture of the month when we entertain Andover.

 

Friday 30th October - Local Derby Awaits In League Cup

The second round draw for The Red Insure League Cup has paired Mangotsfield United with local rivals Yate Town. The tie at Cossham Street will be played on Tuesday 24th November. The league fixture against Bishops Cleeve also due to to be played on this date is still to be rearranged.
